Titus Castanza

Titus Castanza's picture

Titus Castanza was born in 1975 in Saddlebrook, NJ. He received his B.F.A. from the Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. and began his career in 2001 working as a staff artist for The Franklin Mint in Philadelphia. He is known to paint a wide variety of subject matter with an emphasis on portraiture.

“I know when the portrait is finished – it’s finished when I feel that I have captured the essence and soul of the person and no further. I don’t worry about if the hand is completely rendered or if I have fully rendered all the features of the face. I worry about the idea. And in the case of a portrait, the idea is to capture the soul.” -Titus
